Tom Loge’ CTA has been involved in the commodity markets since 1981. Up until 2003 Tom was a broker enjoying fierce loyalty from his clients. His major interest has been in working with beginning traders and traders struggling to gain a foothold in the commodity markets … the traders most in jeopardy.
His teaching on the concepts of Resistance & Support as well as Risk/Reward and probability techniques has gained a wide following. Tom is the author of the widely acclaimed “Surviving the First Year Trading Commodities” program and is a frequent speaker and writer on risk and money management principles and option trading strategies.
Mr. Loge’ has completed numerous courses on hedging programs, developed and traded commercial hedge programs, daytrading programs and currently oversees a credit spread program trading the stock indices.
From 1985 through 1993 Mr. Loge’ was President/CEO of Equine Industries, a manufacturer of ranch, farm and livestock related products. The firm had an active lumber hedging program covering over 2 million board feet annually. From 1988 to 1991 Mr. Loge’, in a consulting capacity, designed and ran an interest rate hedge program for UBU Mortgage Corp. covering over $300,000,000 in forward interest rate commitments.
Mr. Loge’ attended University of Oregon, University of San Diego and Pepperdine University and has taught courses in business, marketing and trading at the community college level. Mr. Loge’ is married, has 2 children and 6 grand children. He is an avid water and snow skier and involved in motor racing.
